How does the process work?
Everything happens online. Complete the free estimate form or call (817) 618-3159. If your vehicle qualifies, you'll get a link to a short application where you upload:
- Your vehicle title
- A government-issued photo ID
- Proof of insurance and registration
- Photos of your vehicle
- Proof of income
- Proof of residence, such as a utility bill
Once it's reviewed and approved, you sign your loan agreement electronically and funds are sent by direct deposit, check or wire.
Do I have to bring my car in?
No. There is no in-person inspection. You send photos of the vehicle — outside, inside, the odometer and the VIN — from your phone.
Who keeps the car while I repay?
You do. The vehicle stays with you and you keep driving it as long as you make your payments as agreed. The lender is added to the title (as the "lienholder") and removed once the loan is paid in full.
How is my vehicle valued?
Year, make, model and mileage set the baseline. Condition, trim and options adjust it from there. The more accurately you describe the vehicle and the clearer your photos, the more precise the estimate.
Can I get a title loan with bad credit?
Often, yes. Because the loan is secured by your vehicle, its value matters more than your credit score. Lenders may still check credit and will confirm you can afford the payments.
What if I still owe money on my car?
In most cases the vehicle needs to be paid off, with a title in your name and no other lender on it. If you still owe a balance, select "No, I still owe" in the estimate form — some lenders may be able to work with you.
Can I pay my loan off early?
Yes. There is no prepayment penalty, so paying extra or paying in full early only lowers the interest you pay.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Contact your lender as soon as you know you'll be late — many will work out a new payment date. Late fees may apply, and because the loan is secured by your vehicle, continued non-payment can lead to repossession. Only borrow what you can comfortably repay.
Why choose a title loan over a bank loan?
Title loans are usually faster and have fewer requirements than unsecured bank loans, which makes them an option if you've been turned down elsewhere. They also tend to cost more, so compare the APR and total of payments before you sign.
Does it cost anything to use this site?
No. Requesting an estimate is free and there's no obligation to accept any offer. Champion Title Loans may be compensated by lenders and advertisers.
Is my information secure?
Information you submit is encrypted in transit and shared only as described in our Privacy Policy, for example with lenders and the service providers that help process your request.
